Voice Of The Wood: Forest Bathing with “One Impulse”

Slow down, awaken your senses, and experience One Impulse: A sculpture installation series by Richard and Laura Brown, inspired by the life of trees in a forest community. The pieces are set in the forests and gardens at Chesterwood National Trust in Stockbridge, MA.

Slow down and lean into the sensation of being alive as we explore One Impulse with our hearts and bodies thru wander, rest, and play interspersed with some light sharing circles. Bear witness to the more-than-human world, each other, and ourselves.

Forest Bathing is part of a global effort to tend to the stressful conditions of living in modern industrialized civilization supporting health and healing not only for humans but also for the trees, waters, and all the beings of the natural world. Nature connection and cultural repair arise together. Let’s remember that we are nature as we awaken our senses and open the door for reciprocity.
