September 2021: Sending love and witnessing to anyone who may need it today.

As summer moves towards autumn, I find myself rediscovering the familiar worn paths of introspection, reflection, focus and thoughtful action. I look in and around my world to inventory what needs doing or undoing and what needs mending or severing. Time is created and space is made to dive into some much anticipated projects. I take shifts running on adrenaline and then resting deeply. I allow for somatic cues while re-membering that my ways of knowing are not the only ways of knowing and not the only story. I stay curious while praying and hoping for more curiosity in the world. This old path from summer into autumn is one of my favorites. This time of year is a grief walk where I am reminded of just how hard I love. I use to feel shame about this would try to hide and damper some of my intensity for life until I found my kin who, over time, have taught me to celebrate and love and be grateful for these gifts. May our complex ways of being be celebrated and may our gifts be seen and appreciated by those who may see themselves in us and may we all feel loved for who and how we are.  Sending love and witnessing to anyone who may need it today.  Become a Forest Therapy Guide!
