Land Of Thoreau Training Immersion (For ANFT Guides) FULL - Registration Closed)

  • Land Of Thoreau 14 Bedford Road Lincoln, MA, 01773 United States (map)

Experience autumn in a quaint New England historic gem. Covered in public conservation land made up of pine forests, creaks, ambles, meadows and a rich history, these neighboring towns of Lincoln and Concord sit just 40 minutes west of Boston. We will explore different trails each day, meeting up daily at the First Parish Church of Lincoln where our group will gather for sharing and listening in the beautiful and spacious light filled Sterns Room that looks out onto a vast meadow surrounded by hedge groves that should be showing some early fall foliage🍁. With the echoes of notable philosophers and writers like Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Louisa May Alcott, and early civil rights activists Susan Garrison and Ellen Garrison, spend your free time exploring nearby historic sites like Walden Pond, The Orchard House from “Little Women,” and The Robbins House.

This 4 day in-person immersion is specifically for Guides who have completed at least 4 months of the 6 month remote Forest Therapy Guide Training with the Association Of Nature and Forest Therapy.
